Hello Yarnies!!
Crazy show season has officially started! Ashley and I had a pretty intense week getting ready for the Twist Fibre Festival in Saint-André-Avellin, QC. If you follow us on Instagram and Facebook you probably saw the results of our late night dye parties drying in our driveway. We made it through, though, and Ashley and I had an absolute blast! The crowd was amazing and even the rain on Sunday couldn't seem to keep people away. I've spent the last week recovering but I know it was straight back to the dye pots for Ashley. She really is a trooper!
Ashley and I have a few thank yous we need to share. A special thank you to our friend Stephanie for being such an amazing help both days and for all of her energy and enthusiasm. We really couldn't have done it without her! We also want to thank the Twist team and their volunteers for hosting such a fantastic event and being such an amazing support throughout the weekend. Finally, we would like to thank everyone who came out to see us! You guys are my favourite reason for doing these shows. I love meeting you all and talking all things yarn and knitting with you!
If you're in the Ottawa area, we'll be at the Almonte Fibrefest on September 9th & 10th. Those of you in the GTA, we'll be at the Woodstock Fleece Festival on October 15th, which will be our final show of the season. We've got some special stuff we've been saving just for the shows so definitely come check us out!
