Okay so I know it is Saturday but this article was meant for Friday but time got away from me while we prepped for our eldest to attend her first overnight camp this weekend. So a day late but here is our most recent finished object and an intro to our wonderful new base.
At the end of this years show season we launched a wonderful new fingering base, Nubby Fingering. This yarn is great for sweaters, tops, and accessories. With 80% merino this yarn is soft and supple and the the nylon neps provide a great texture to your knitted fabric.
I used the Nubby Fingering to knit up this great top by Caitlin Hunter - Navelli. This top is so cozy and easy to wear. It looks great dressed up for the office or paired with your favourite jeans for weekend ventures to town.
The neckline on this top is perfectly stretchy and hangs so nice on my shoulders.
My favourite feature of this top is the sleeves. How awesome is this peak of colour? The folded fabric provides the perfect amount of weight to have the sleeves drape off the shoulder.
